Grain Bunker Management From

Receival to Clean-Up

A grain bunker can be months of work.

HSF can stay with it for the whole job.

From establishing the bunker and receiving grain through to tarping, fumigation, monitoring, maintenance, outloading and final clean-up, we can manage individual stages or take responsibility for significant parts of the operation.

One Team Across the Storage Cycle

Every handover between contractors creates another moving part.

HSF brings grain handling, storage, fumigation, tarp work, pest monitoring and operational support together under the one business.

Depending on the job, we can assist with:

  • Bunker establishment

  • Grain receivals

  • Loader operations

  • Grain pushing

  • Tarp installation

  • Sealing

  • Grain fumigation

  • Pest monitoring

  • Storage inspections

  • Hygiene management

  • Tarp and seal repairs

  • Outloading

  • Clean-up

  • Tarp cleaning, folding and rolling

Our Grain Bunker Management Process

From the first load in to the final clean-up, HSF can manage the bunker throughout the entire storage cycle.

01 — Establishment & Receivals

We provide the experienced people and machinery required to establish the bunker, receive grain and keep things moving during high-volume harvest operations.

02 — Tarping & Sealing

Once the grain is in, we install and seal the tarps, with the equipment and capability to maintain and repair them throughout storage.

03 — Fumigation

We prepare and seal the storage area and carry out grain fumigation to protect stored grain from insect infestation.

04 — Monitoring & Maintenance

Throughout storage, we can monitor grain condition, insects, hygiene, tarps and seals, while addressing maintenance and repair issues as they arise.

05 — Outloading & Cleanup

When it's time to move the grain, we can provide the people and machinery for outloading before cleaning up the bunker and cleaning, folding and rolling the tarps.

One Team. The Whole Storage Cycle.

Receival → Tarping → Fumigation → Monitoring → Outloading → Clean-Up

Ongoing Contracts & One-Off Bunker Work

HSF can work under ongoing agricultural contracts where we take responsibility for significant parts of a customer's grain-storage operation.

We can also be brought in for individual stages or one-off work where additional people, equipment or specialist capability is required.
